What do you think she deserves and what do you think she'll actually get?

What does she deserve?  Not to be a mother - she is absolutely despicable and unbelievably stupid, naive and  selfish for leaving her son on his own.

What she will get : is to regret doing it for the rest of her life - not only because she will lose custody of her son (& potentially any other children she has)  but also because when she goes to prison for it, (whether it be for a few months or a year max) she will be hounded, hassled and possibly maimed by the other prison inmates for doing such a dreadful and dangerous thing to a child.

I hope that a caring grand parent would be willing to bring this toddler up as the mother is obviously not  capable of doing it.

I know what she DOESNT deserve and that is to have her child back or have any future children!!!!!  

Knowing the British justice system, she will probably be let off or given the most pathetic sentence ever!

She'll get a slap on the wrist and the kid back. She is not to blame. Its mans fault or society. Can't have her taking responsibility can we?

She needs to be institutionalized. Without being a Dr. I have no clue why someone would think or not think this way. Punishing her won't do any good cause she is out of touch with consequences or she would have never taken this risk to her child.

She should be locked up in jail for a good 5 years,   i say 5 because she will be out after 2 and half but hopefully in that time some nice butch lag takes her under her wing and makes her, Her *****  wink wink nudge nudge.

But she will most prob get community service and a fine. when in fact they should be rushing her into theatre and giving her a  hysterectomy to ensure no other kid has to suffer like this poor kid did.

Another waste of space  parent letting their kids fend for themselves ........... when will these people learn, She should think her self lucky that no harm come to this child like poor Maddie,

Does it ever make you think how often this sort of thing happens without anyone being caught? I just cannot understand the mentality of these people.

She blame postnatal depression.... I had it and people abuse it..... The baby nds to b taken away. She should b made 2 hav a hysterectomy...........

But she will get community service or summat mad!!!!!!

She ought to have her baby making bits removed to start with then instead of jailing her force her to work under very close supervision with small children or with dependant adults. Being isolated from her own child for good is sentence enough and i dont think that putting someone like her into jail to be able to sit in a comfy cell with all mod. cons. thrown in is right.
