Recently a 3 year old boy died trying to get out of a hot car because his mom forgot about him and went to work instead of dropping him off first. How many more children have to die before something is done? I just cannot imagine getting out of my car not knowing that I'm not alone. Do you think we should just let it be or something should be done? Any ideas or suggestions?

  1. EXACTLY!

  2. My mom left me in the car once and rolled up the windows...............

Thank god she did it was freezing cold outside!

  3. Do you actually think an "ad campaign"  would help people to remember their child is in the car?  I mean if the ad is right there flashing in front of them when they are getting out, maybe it will help remind them..  But more than likely, people will see the ad and then forget the ad.  They probably won't remember the ad just because they are getting out of the car.  Their child is more important to them than an ad and they forgot the child.  I highly doubt they would remember just because they saw an ad.

As far as what should be done.  If was an accident...nothing.  The guilt is bad enough. But if it was negligence, like say the parents were drunk or  whatever, then yes, they should be charged with manslaughter.  But for the majority of the parents who suffer this terrible tragedy they don't need to be treated like a criminal.

Obviously, if they did it on purpose they should be charged with the highest crime possible.
