What do you think should happen to illegal aliens in this country? Should they become citizens immediately, be deported, have to take a standardized test, face charges on legal issues? Thoughts comments?

  1. They should be deported.  It is the law, and it should be enforced.  If you don't like the law, change it, and in this country, that can be done.


  2. They should be allowed to become citizens, there's companies relying on them and if they sit and wait for CHAD citizen to do the job, they'll go broke.

  3. They should have an Amnesty and allow the Illegals with no criminal records and the ones who have been paying taxes to become legal residents of the US.

  7. If you as a citizen breaks the law? you get arrested. so why should anyone else be treated any different. I am ashamed that our government allows us to be punished . But not someone else. It makes me feel cheated and discriminated against for being a citizen. If you go across their border illegally you WILL BE ARRESTED>

I think they should be deported upon identification.  That means that we don't go out and hunt them.  We let them come in to apply for a drivers license or seek medical treatment, or register for school, then detain them and deport them.  It would be a slow transition and wouldn't cost that much to enact.  Offering them citizenship just encourages illegals.

We would suffer any massive labor shortage,there are millions of people who are do it the right way,that can come in and fill the jobs left vacant by the illegals Coming to America is a privilege not a right.Our country is based on a nation of laws. To say all come for a better life, we would to be fair,have to allow anyone who wants a better the same entry Mexicans currently proclaims gives them the entitlement to go where the money is. We can get cheap labor from across the world,imagine how the Mexicans would feel,if other illegals came and would depress their wages.Everybody wants a better life,but should 90% of it be limited to Latin America ?

  11. You probably mean the ones coming from south of the border.  We should not be respecter of persons--or nationalities.  Treat them like we do other people who break our immigration laws.

    If they were black and from Hati or elsewhere, they would get sent home pdq.

    This is definitely discrimination.

    Illegals from south of the border should not be allowed to run ahead of people who have applied legally and are following the rules.  But that is exactly what is going on.

    Remove the jobs magnet

    Deny access to social programs and bilingual education

    Putt hose that re-enter after deportation in prison

    Pass more state laws like Oklahoma and Arizona

    Continue building the border fence

  18. i as a LEGAL immigrant think that illegal immigrants in the U.S should become citizens upon identification...i mean the europeans didnt need a test to stay here when they invaded and took this country from the indians how is this different now?? Why should we deport people that all they want is to make a better life for themselves...i'm sick and tired of people thinking immigrants are people that deserve to be in jail or worse...this country is about seizing oppertunity so why are u denying it to people just because of the way they come to this country? all they want is a better life, all they want is to achieve the american dream...........

  20. Immediate deportation for ANY with a criminal record of ANY KIND.

    Those who can prove they have been here for more than 1 year MAY remain WHILE they apply for a work visa, and while they are working, their wages are GARNISHED to pay the HEFTY FINE for being in VIOLATION of our laws....ALONG WITH a hefty fine for their employers.

    Any not wishing to pay the fine may be deported immediately.
