What do you think that Midnight Sun has stopped being written?

She stopped writing because a trusted friend leaked the first twelve chapters on the internet and she is too upset to write. SHE IS NOT BEING A CHEESECAKE!

I think it the worst thing that could have happened i was looking forward to reading this book the most because its from Edwards point of view.

I don't know why except that it got leaked. But for me, that isn't enough of a reason. Stephenie has already written the book--Twilight--she has already written half of the book, so why quit now? It's another disappointment to her fans and so soon too.

She should suck it up and deal with it. How? Well, first of all she should've handled the leak the way she handled Breaking Dawn's leak. Alright, not by lying to us and telling us it could or could not be real. Just taking the d**n thing and starting whipping out threats of lawsuits or having her fans get it removed from the internet.

Instead, she chooses to throw a fit and GIVE it to us, for a reason that is beyond me. To have us read it honestly? Er, it's full of mistakes and it's not even published yet. That's not honestly. Then after whipping out lawsuits and threats, she should've finished the book.

It's not like we didn't know what was going to happen in Midnight Sun. Okay, there would've been a few surprises but come on! She should just continue writing the novel--it's going to make money either way. And who wants to read the whole book over the internet? So uncomfortable. There are still fans who are loyal to her and haven't read it--I'm not a fan, but I haven't read it yet--and there are lots of fans who would buy the book after she finished writing the second half, which she should keep to herself when she's through with and not give to this "trusted" person.

Anyway, I'm not a fan of Stephenie's saga but I see how disappointed her fans were with Breaking Dawn and how now she's not helping the cause by throwing this fit--and yes, it is a fit--because of someone else's mistake. She's essentially punishing her fans for someone else's mistakes. That's not something someone who cares about their fans would do.

do you know how disgusted i feel?  I am so pissed that midnight sun is not being written.  The freakin boob who leaked it in the first place should be put down with horse tranquilizers.  I am so upset I kind of see it as selfish on her part.  I understand she is upset but what about everyone else who believed in her books, where it was a escape.  Its not fair to us.  I thank her for putting it on the net but who wants to read something that she herself says is filled with flaws and mistakes, how is that a favor to the reader?  Its not fair and now my friends are all upset.  We got our whole office all 23 people reading Twilight how the heck do i explain to them it's not coming out.  Did she even think about that?  she may have had her copyright laws violated but i as a reader feel that my trust has been violated.  i am so upset and hope that she puts herself in others shoes.  She should step out of her box and realize that in the end with this saga she was able to make people live through this book, myself i was late doing my finals because i was so in love with the saga.  Now i have nothing really to look foward to other than the movie.  I am so madly in love with Edward, and find it not fair.  She says she will stop writing because she is to upset and it would result in her killing off one of her characters.  She didn't just kill off one, she killed everyone she let the saga die.  She killed Edward, Bella, etc. She killed their love because she is upset well so is everyone else.  Does she not think that the illegal release upsets anyone else???? Is she just so concerned with her feelings that she doesn't care about anyone elses?  This book wasn't a million dollar seller for nothing with out the escape and imagination that people found in the book she wouldn't have gotten a dime and now since she has enough and is financially stable and upset she ends it because her feelings have been hurt, violated, and tampered with.... Let me tell you Stephenie how do you think all of us feel??????????

If she has a contract with Little, Brown, to write this book - and I can't imagine that she doesn't, given the amount of money they could make off of it - she'll eventually have to finish writing it.
