  1. the help staff, ambiance, and silverware

  2. Cleanliness---of the floor, the table, the silverware, plates and glasses.

Cleanliness of the staff---hair, hands, uniforms

cost of food vs quality of food and presentation

  3. 1. quality of service provided by the staff.

    2. quality of the food and accuracy of preperation requested.

    3. resturaunt atmosphere (cleanliness, design theme, silverware ect.)

  4. Ok,  first,  make sure it is a restaurant and they actually serve food.   One time I went to the library and ordered a hamburger.  The nice lady told me it was a library,  so I whispered,  give me a hamburger.   Anyway,  make sure they serve food.

Second:  Drive thru -  make sure they have a drive thru.  Last week I went to Lobster Shanty to get some takeout.   You know they have a nice big lobby,  but no drive thru.   Well,  after the tow truck removed my car,  I was able to get me some shrimp.

Third:  Price -  if you have to pay for yourself,  it ain't worth it.  Get your self a nice sugar daddy to pick up the tab...

  5. My three top priorities are:

    1) cleanliness of place (floors, silverware, glasses and the staff)...regardless of how classy the food is I wont eat in a place that is filthy

    2) the range of the menu offered - im very flaky when it comes to eating and I love all food so I want a restaurant that can provide all sorts of different and varied meals (pidgeon, vension, steak etc.)

    3) quality of service - the friendliness and smile of staff members can really enhance a good night out which is exactly what I want...like my salon, Im not just paying for a good 30 minute hair styling but also the good conversation, craic and niceness of the staff..

  6. For me, first and foremost, I listen to my gut.  I have dinner plans in a couple of days I already know what I want, kind of.  It might be something that you can't do, don't do or don't want to prepare at home because of the complexity of the dish.  It might be something that's not in season from local grocery stores but you know, the restaurants will have it!  Secondly, I read every word of the descriptions about the food that I have narrowed by pre-choices.(what I'm in the mood for)  Can I add something or delete a certain item?   What sounds good, is what I select, but I also ask the server what they think too.  The servers KNOW what's going on in the kitchen and eat that food daily, they know when it's fresh or a leftover and please, watch their faces, that's a big indicator of how they really feel, no matter what they say.  Thirdly, I look at the "rules"........can we substitute a certain side for another side?  What does the meal come with? Is is complimentary to the main entree?  Is this a local dish?  If it's too far fetched for that small diner, then it may not be their thing.........so, that's my routine when going out, I like taking my time, enjoying the company I am with, relish on the conversation, I want the whole dining experience to be special, even if it's at a local place.  I hope my detailed opinons help you out!

  7. . Quality

    . Service

    . Price

  8. One of my husband's pet peeves is getting food that isn't broiling hot in restaurants.  We used to go to Houlihan's where the food was good but had to be heated up in the microwave.  We finally gave up.

    Cleanliness,

    Good service

  9. Quality/taste

    Amount of food

    Price

I think a lot of places serve great food, but charge way too much for such a minimal amount of food.  If I'm going to pay $15 for a plate of food, I want something substantial, and it better taste good too :)

  10. 1.lunch specials are often dinner leftovers.

    2. look for clenliness of staff and restaurant.

    3. look behind restaurant... its often a good sign of how they handle buisiness.
