What do you think the Montauk Monster is?

I think it is a decomposed dog :( You can see its teeth and nails. It looks like it was a Pug or a Boston Terrier. I guess anything can look like a monster if it has been dead for a while.

Yes, when something bounces around in the ocean for awhile all sorts of weird decomposition and wear can occur. I'm going with raccoon myself, from the body shape and what can be seen of the skull and teeth. The "beak" is just the skull, it's missing its upper fang. Creepy though. Better pic here:

There is no way that is photoshopped, There's no way someone could blend images that well and just make up that creature. The lighting is PERFECT. The skin is incredibly realistic. The shadow looks as real as it could be. If this were 'shopped, we would be looking at work from one of the best editors and the most creative person ever. The world is HUGE, There has to be a TON of animals we havnt discovered yet, I mean its possible that there are some undiscovered creatures.

It is a pig. definitely a pig. compare it to this picture:

Its face is partially decomposed making it look like it has a 'beak' so to speak, but like someone else said, the 'beak' is in fact the cartilage (septum) of the nose.

It has pig hooves, it has a pig tail, it looks like a pig, and it is bound like a spit roast lol

I was thinking a dog, but the guy from Animal Planet was just on the news saying it looked like a racoon to him.

Or maybe its a alien!

more than likely a bloated dog ,i was on a forum and this guy superimposed an image of a dog skull over it...perfect fit.

Don't you think that this a case of animal abuse?  I looked at the photos and to me it looks like there is the head of a  bird stuffed into the body part of a dog or mammal. As far as the front paws; looks like they were taped on, if you look closely at the photo you can see a band around the chopped off body of an animal; of this supposed creature. It looks like to me some teenagers or some crazed individual or individuals decided to mutilate some animals and then post it on the internet!  I don't understand why people think this is cool or interesting but the whole thing looks to me like a case of animal abuse and I hope they catch the person or people that have done this...this is a crime against the natural order of life!
