Are you talking about the Manticore?

Because the only Montauk I have ever heard of was a Native American Tribe.

The Manticore was an ancient Greek mythological monster that had body parts that appeared to be from different animals.  I don't remember what parts came from what animals; but I do know a lion, a goat, and a hawk were involved.

I've seen the pictures of this suppose " Montauk Monster" and i find it hard to identify,some claims that its just a raccoon , a sea turtle, dog, rodent and a sheep. Some even said that's its a Rakali a water rat because of the similarities, the beak, the feet, tail and feet size and a decomposed  Capybara. But for me it looks like a mutated animal of some sort, a mixture of different animals for experimentation.

It is a bloated water rat or some other rodent. It is not a dog. The fly on the picture indicates that the creature is small. Secondary pictures show that it does NOT have a beak. The skull matches with a rodent as do the feet. The fur also matches. It is a water rodent.
