none, really.

Different dogs have different personalities, and it's not their duty to protect you, and they know that. Rare is the case when a dog has prevented a home break-in or an attack of any kind. unless you happen to be a cop or a bounty hunter or something dogs are best "used" for snuggling and other less violent activities.

Doberman Pinscher. We had one that without training he would protect and not attack the person, just hold them at bay.
