Will they return to the USA and petition for their parents if they are out of the country?

In that case, why SOME people think that deportation is the only solution to the immigration issue? Because the children born in USA territory are American citizens and is something is done against their parents then we will have angry Americans who will come to the USA, and will bring their parents and more family back. If they get married in their countries they can bring their wives/husbands and kids too.

  1. That is exactly what they will do. It is obvious the life here in 100 time better than countries like Mexico. As soon as they are able to they will petition for their parents and family. That is why we should not deport everyone. We cannot have their WHOLE family deported. Whether people like it or not the children who are born here ARE citizens and have the same rights as we do.. including bringing their families here like our ancestors once did.

  2. They probably will come back and petition for their parents. It's legal for them to do so. Some might be angry some won't be.  I really don't see the point you're trying to make with this. Are you trying to provoke bad feelings by implying they'll hate America when they come back or what?

  3. They probably would return to the US and petition for their parents if they had been deported with the parents. However, I do not believe they would return angry or then they probably wouldn't return at all. Who would want to live someplace where they hold a grudge/ despise those around them?

At the same time, I don't believe these children should be deported along with their parents. As American citizens they have rights to be here - that is why a lot of undocumented immigrants find others willing to care for their children if they are deported. Sometimes they end up leaving the children behind with the hope that they'll have a better life. It's a sad story to say the least - but a price that has to be paid due to both the corruptive forces that created this situation and those who tried to take advantage of it.

  4. Your premise makes you seem like a drowning man grasping at straws; we have a country full of angry Americans. We do not have to wait until a new generation comes of age. Illegal immigration is not good for America; the immigrants are exploited and our resources are diffused. The only people who benefit from illegal immigration are employers looking for slave labor, immigration attorneys and people who feed off of human misery.

  5. A great many children of immigrants are going to hit the age of 18 only to discover that they are "identity-theft babies," not really US born.  Many immigrants are stealing the identities and SSNs of real US-born children (dead or alive) for their foreign-born, illegal alien children smuggled in by their illegal alien parents.

It is exceedingly difficult to catch a child-identity thief.  After age 18, however, it is much easier to catch these people.  And when caught, they have a string of identity theft, fraud and other charges -- enough to keep them in prison a while, then get get them permanently barred from the US.

  6. I believe they will petition for their parents. I don't understand how breaking families apart like this is helping the US. Today's society suffers enough with broken families of US citizens. Every child needs a Mom & Dad. What will happen in the future with kids that have no one here to guide them in the right direction? It's a scarry thought, and the only people that would be at fault are the ones tearing them apart.

  7. Why would they be angry?  Their parents didn't follow the law and that's why they were deported.  The children are lucky that the U.S. law allows anyone born here to automatically be a citizen.  Hopefully the parents applied for birth certificates for their children before they had to leave.

  8. I think we should deport the kids too if their parents are illegal! Illegals have really taken advantage of the whole 'anchor baby' thing. SEND THE WHOLE FAMILY BACK WHERE THEY CAME FROM.

Edit- It's not a matter of 'feelings'. It's a matter of obeying the law! Their parents broke the law coming over and if they're all booty hurt, because their parents pay for their crimes then it sounds like it's the kid's problem NOT OURS.

Edit- What part of ILLEGAL do you not understand? Here's a dime, buy you a clue!

  9. People born in American territories (such as American Samoa) are American Nationals NOT American citizens.

  10.      Deport them back and teach them how to pick georgia peach trees and cotton then maybe they can do something worth wild up here.

  11. Well since at the moment there is an incorrect interpretation of the 14th Amendment being used as policy we have no choice but to allow the children to return here to the United States. We do not however ever have to allow the parents (illegals) to EVER return to this country.
