  1. As I've come to understand (or misunderstand) it, the fourth dimension I could only give you an example of. Say you have a cube. You can see it from all vantage points, all sides, at once... from both outside in, and inside out, and also see its beginning, duration of existance, and final destruction, without the limitations of space-time. In any case, nothing can be proven. Thanks for the question!

  2. I'm pretty sure the fourth dimension is supposed to be Time.

But if you go to a 4-D movie, they spritz you with water.  So maybe the fourth dimension is actually water spritzers?  ^_^

  3. the first dimension is measured on the x axis. the second dimension is measured on the y axis. the third dimension is measured on the z axis. if we were to add a fourth dimension, how would it be measured?

ill reference the book "the time machine": say you are looking at a thermometer. the level of the mercury fluctuates during the day, reaching a high point around noon and a low point sometime in the middle of the night. if you were to graph the level of the mercury on an x-y axis, with time on the x axis and the level on the y axis, it would form a shape similar to a sine wave. now, while the thermometer never at one point in time looked like a sine wave, can you dispute that it made the shape on the graph?

the fourth dimension is something we cannot see, and is only measurable by means of our three-dimensional world. its like drawing a picture of a cube on a piece of paper; it is still a 2-d image, but we are manipulated into thinking of it as a 3-d object. a stick figure cannot comprehend depth, because it lives in a world with only height and width. similarly, humans cannot comprehend the fourth dimension, be it time or anything else, because our plane of existance has only 3 dimensions

  4. Although it is always associated with time; Geometry has different use to it in the orthogonal directions "The fourth spatial dimension and orthogonality" and vectors

  5. Physicist have come up with 11 different possible dimensions.

I can't begin to tell you the answer. It is bigger than the my brain or imagination.

  6. it's time
