my boyfriend and i were arguing last night and he was very upset and crying...he told me to listen to this song and he wouldnt tell me why. what do you think the meaning of this song is??

He's saying he is trying to love you, but you aren't letting him know who you really are. You aren't letting him in.

to me the song is saying that he wants for to open up to him let him in. so that he can feel like he actually know who you are. he wants you to allow him to love you the way that he really wants too. he dont want to be left out of the equation.
