  1. Intelligence without the "Faith in Unseen" things will lead to ignorance of the the true purpose of this life. Bcos science itself is based and developed on certain fundamental beliefs. In Secondary school we all study in Mathematics Limit tends to Infinity. What is this Infinity. It is blind faith only. In physics, the entire material science is based on an assumption of an Imaginary Particle called "Photon". Today's electronics is also based on this faith only. The astronomy of the present modern world says that the boundary of the universe is 4 billion light years away from earth. One light year is the distance travelled by light in one year. Till today all these faiths remain as faiths. A true scientist will never deny God. TO LIVE and die a good person as expected by our All-Intelligent, Omni present God, we are here. Any religion which identifies this True Almighty God is the right one.

  2. Who cares what a book says? I believe the meaning of life is to PARTAY!

  3. The meaning of life is 42.

    Everybody knows that.

  4. Time and again, “the word of our God” encourages us to think and act on the basis of principles. When Jesus was asked to summarize the Law, he made two succinct statements—one emphasizing love for Jehovah, the other stressing love for fellowman. (Matthew 22:37-40) In doing so, Jesus partially quoted from an earlier brief summary of basic tenets of the Mosaic Law, stated at Deuteronomy 6:4, 5: “Jehovah our God is one Jehovah. And you must love Jehovah your God with all your heart and all your soul and all your vital force.” Evidently, Jesus also had in mind God’s directive found at Leviticus 19:18. In the clear, terse, and powerful ending of the book of Ecclesiastes, King Solomon’s words epitomize a host of divine laws: “The conclusion of the matter, everything having been heard, is: Fear the true God and keep his commandments. For this is the whole obligation of man. For the true God himself will bring every sort of work into the judgment in relation to every hidden thing, as to whether it is good or bad.”—Ecclesiastes 12:13, 14; Micah 6:8.

  8. "Try and be nice to people, avoid eating fat, read a good book every now and then, get some walking in, and try and live together in peace and harmony with people of all creeds and nations."

  9. King Solomon, after trying out everything this life has to offer in the way of riches, houses, gardens, and forms of enjoyment, came to the conclusion:

“I hated life, because the work that has been done under the sun was calamitous from my standpoint, for everything was vanity and a striving after wind.” (Ecclesistes 2:17)

Solomon hated the calamitous, vain life that one experiences in living as does the present world of mankind, subject to futility. (Romans 8:20)

Solomon did not hate life itself, for it is a ‘good gift and perfect present from above.’ (James 1:17)

Yes, life is the “perfect” gift. And it comes from a most loving giver, the Grand Creator of the universe, Jehovah God.

Thus, life without God is futile.

    At Ecclesiastes 12:13, Solomon concluded:

“The conclusion of the matter, everything having been heard, is: Fear the true God and keep his commandments. For this is the whole obligation of man.”

Solomon’s verdict that life’s meaning cannot be divorced from a wholesome fear of God was repeatedly confirmed by Jesus Christ. “It is written,” Jesus said, quoting God’s Word, “Man must live, not on bread alone, but on every utterance coming forth through Jehovah’s mouth.” (Matthew 4:4; Deuteronomy 8:3)

Yes, for one’s life to be fulfilling, the spiritual dimension cannot be ignored.

Of himself, Jesus said further: “My food is for me to do the will of him that sent me and to finish his work.” (John 4:34) Obediently serving his heavenly Father was a source of joy and satisfaction. It nourished him. It gave purpose to his life.

Historian Arnold Toynbee once wrote: “ Man’s true end is to glorify God and to enjoy Him for ever.”

Yes, the purpose of life is to glorify our Maker. Happily, God made it the greatest source of joy and lasting satisfaction!
