What do you think the next president should do about lazy, freeloaders on SSI?

With the fragile status of the economy today, the amount of fraudulent SSI claims have soared and it's the hard working citizens that are being heavily taxed to fund these individuals. They loiter in the streets the whole day, living la vida loca, and do nothing for society. Is this fair? What should the government do?

The amount of money these so-called lazy, freeloaders get on SSI is nothing compared to the amount of money that greedy and corrupt politicians steal from the US taxpayers every day!

i have been complaining about this for years..i'm 63 btw...and it gets worse every year..and every now and then a president will mention it..but yet nothing has been done..i have worked since i was a teen and was lucky enough to retire at the age of 57..i see those loafers allot..and they spend their ''free'' money on anything but what its really for..and they sell their food stamps for more money...caring less about their kids..the government needs to do more checking into the applications before accepting them

There is not a lot the President can do about it, other than recommend that Congress do something about it.
