Honestly, I believe that the Queen pretty much ordered Prince William to get rid of her.  She was and is another Diana.  She does not come from Royalty, but she does come from wealth.  It is no secret that the Queen did not approve of Diana, therefore she didn't approve of a girl that reminds her so much of the Princess.  However, Prince William and I believe her name is Kate, have been seen together recently, and it has been reported that they are seeing each other again.

There was probably too much pressure from the Media and possibly his family. Or it might have been a mutual decision based on their indifferences. Who really knows... the royal family keep all kinds of secrets.
