  2. You havePortland to high! And I dont think the Hawks make the playoffs again next year. Josh Smith is most likely out. And what have the Bobcats dont to become 6th in the east? Its basically the same team!

    West

    1) Lakers

    2) Hornets

    3) Spurs

    4) Jazz

    5) Rockets

    6) Trailblazers

    7) Suns

    8) Clippers

    1) Boston

    2) Detroit

    3) Cleveland

    4) Orlando

    5) Philly

    6) Toronto

    7) Indiana

    8) Milwakee/Chicago

  3. west

1.Lakers(lock for finals, especially if bynum continues where he left off and improves then they will be champs)

    2.Hornets

    3.jazz

    4.spurs

    5.rockets

    5.raptors

    6.76ers

    7.cavs

    8.heat

  4. i totally agree with you for the most part in the west except you gotta throw san antionio in there probably and i wouldnt put the blazers that high just because no body has seen them when they are healthy they could possibly a 7 or 8 seed.  At least ur giving the warriors some love not much people are, with the additions of turiaf, marcus williams, and mo evans they should be even more athletic then the have been in the past, even though barons gone.

As for the west its good except orlando has to be in there somewhere, and i think the nets wil slip in there this year with the revamping of their roster.

  5. West:

    Los Angeles Lakers

    New Orleans Hornets

    Utah Jazz

    Houston Rockets

    San Antonio Spurs

    Dallas Mavericks

    Portland Trailblazers

    Phoenix Suns

    East:

    Boston Celtics

    Cleveland Cavaliers

    Orlando Magic

    Toronto Raptors

    Detroit Pistons

    Philadelphia 76ers

    Washington Wizards

    Chicago Bulls

You have to keep in mind that there are plenty of quality teams both in the West and the East. The East has definately improved a lot. The Spurs, though old, have plenty of experience and that plays a big role come playoff time. The 76ers and Raptors are much improved with their acquisitions this summer. The Trailblazers though talented, are still very young and I believe that they aren't ready to challenge the best quite yet, but give them a few years. This NBA season is going to be very exciting that I can hardly wait!

    7:Phoenix

    8Nuggets/Portland but Denver wins

  7. Yo! Whats up with Chicago and Miami not being in the EASTERN COnFRENCE PLAYOFFS? lol.. I mean they're better this year? Right???

  8. East:

    Pistons

Boston (pistons are ready to another one)

cavs (excuse this, it'll be a no if they stay the same)

i'm gonna have to say heat (wade, marion, beasley)

    wizards

    orlando

    bulls

    nets/pacers/philly

    west

spurs (every 2 years they show)

    lakers

    hornets

    jazz

rockets (also excuse if yao and t-mac stay banged up)

    mavs? (dirk, kidd, stackhouse, others...)

    seatle supersonics/memphis fight

kings (would have gotten in this year, if not for rockets streak)

i wrote it up rough, but look at my facts, man.

    8) Orlando

    West

    1) Los Angeles Lakers

    Magic

    76ers

    Wizards

    Cavs

    Raptors

    Bucks

  11. I have a weird feeling that the lakers will not do as good as last year

    West:

Rockets- they have a good team they just need to be healthy

Hornets-young and know waht is needed to win

Lakers-have a strnge feeling that they will slip

Jazz-they have a great strong group

Suns-I think they will solve there chemistry problem

Spurs-they are aging and they just lost there shooter

Blazers-they are a young team and need some experience

    Mavs-They have nothing going

Clippers-Again the clips have a young group with 3 good veteran players.

  12. West

    1.NO Hornets

    3. Jazz

    3.Lakers (i think they slipp a little)

    4Spurs

    5.Suns

    6.Rockets

    7.Nuggets

    8. Mavs

    East-

    1. Detroit

    2. Boston

    3. Orlando

    5. Raptors

    6. Phili

    7. Cleveland (the east keeps getting better except for the cavs

    8. Miami heat

Blaizers, wizards, warriors, clippers, and hawks will b in the running 2, but i think they will just miss the playoffs

  13. I would mostly agree with you. Except, instead of the warriors, I would throw the clippers in there somewhere. And I dont believe the Nuggets are in. They lost Camby, and they came up short despite such a hyped up season this year. I also say the kings are out of contention. They really have not done anything to prove they are even playoff ready. And how can you leave out San Antonio? They have been the most dominant NBA franchise in the past decade.

In the east: ARE YOU CRAZY? You left out ORLANDO!!!??? Orlando was the third seed this year! I would take out the bobcats and the pacers. They are not ready for the playoffs. I would also be bold and say that NY would be a playoff contender. With D'Antoni in, and the lockeroom jerk marbury out, I think NY is going to get alot better.

  14. West

    Hornets

    Lakers

    Jazz

    Spurs

    Rockets

    Mavs

    Suns

    Nuggets

    East

    Boston

    Detroit

    Cleveland

    Orlando

    Washington

    Atlanta

    76ers

    Charlote

NBA Finals: Celtics beat the hornets in 7.
