What do you think the world will be like in 100 hundred year's?

Now forget all those prophecies and look at the world now. What do you see in 100 years time? Currently the world is going through a shortage of oil, shortage of food, death rate lowering, birth rate raising. pollution. do you think the world will be here in 100 years. or do you think that we may live on a neighboring planet, invent new machines or even the human biological form may have changed? what do you think?

We all dead. Do you know why? Because if there were people alive, why didn't they go back to the past to visit us at some point? Like using time travel

Cars will be able to fly. Everyone will be wearing jump suits. Door will open with a 'whoosh!' Food will just be colored mush. People will live to over 300 years and the smallest people will be over 6 feet tall.

Call me a pessimist but I believe in 100 years time the world will pretty much be the same as it is now. Of course there will be new inventions, our fuel sources will be different, but the big picture will be roughly the same.

I'm looking at this from the perspective of our 200,000 year lifespan as the human race. If I look at us 100 years ago and then today, not that much has actually changed. There's still diseases, scientific concepts we think nobody will ever understand, "new" ideas in science some people think are "crazy" today, but they will become accepted with time. And society as a whole... still pretty much the same really. Young people have always disrespected the elders, women are still not on par with men, people ALWAYS think *this* is the worst we've ever been (crime rates etc.) but I betcha things are *still* gonna be worse in 100 years time. Only then we'll have some great new inventions. Mind controll maybe? :-)
