Question

......at a restaurant when you send some food back to the kitchen because you didn't like the way it was cooked?

I've hear some nasty stories about what an offended chef might do when he gets food back for a redo...

Do you REALLY trust they won't spit on it, rub their dong on it, blow their nose on it,?????

We send food back because it is cold or undercooked for my husband (well done meat).

A couple of times I've ordered something I just can't stand to eat without gagging.  I don't mean something I don't like that seems to be cooked OK, but something that really disagrees with me although there is nothing wrong with it.

I don't want to hear anything about what happens to the food that's returned.  I expect that it is treated as well as it was when it was cooked and I don't want to know any differently.

if it was their mistake and it was a legitimate complaint i dont think they will do anything bad. but if the person is just complaining to be an a** then theres a chance they might do something... probably not as vulgar as what you think.

I have had to send food back because it was cold or they brought me something completely different than what I asked for.  When food is sent back cold all they do is reheat it in the microwave.   Sometimes they will put it on another plate or bowl before reheating.  If they sent out the wrong item and it was there mistake they usually are very pleasant about it.  There are rules and regulations a restaurant has to abide by and if any restaurant got caught doing the things you think they may do, they would lose there license and I'm sure the Chef wouldn't want to have a rep like that either.

I think it depends on the place. Most places dont have a chef per say, most places are like fast food.. per cooked food or some young kid trying to grill steaks.

But no, I dont trust ppl with my food!

It's possible......people are evil these days and they might do it....NEVER MESS WITH THE PERSON WHO BRINGS YOU YOUR FOOD!
