What do you think things will be like?

I want to tell this girl who i see every day and have gotten to know over the past 2 yrs how much i like her. We've never gone out or anything, but i have very strong feelings for her. the thing hanging me up though, is how will things be if she doesnt feel the same way. I know there'll be some embarrasment right away, but what about in the long run? Will we become distant and uncomfortable around each other? Will she tell her friends (some of which are my friends) and spread it around that i told her, bringing me more embarrasment?

honestly its very rare for thing to just be the same as they used to after feeling are expressed among good friendss, of course she will tell her friends at least her best friend which will tell one person etc... but u have to tell her!!! you will never forget and always wonder what might of been  if u don't

It might be a little weird at first if she doesn't but that lessens over time.  I know I have had a similar problem.  The guy and I are now just good friends and that is ok.  That is a potentially embarrassing situation and I think she would be able to see the sensitivity of it.  Basically I wouldn't think that she would just spread that around because you are putting yourself out there.
