I had a dream that a strawberry blonde woman, i have never seen before, and my son,4, were in the woods playing football. All of a sudden everybody turns and sees her trying to carry him but its like he is perpindicular to her and his body is convulsing. I tried to run to him but i was slow like paralized. When i got there his nails were brown , not blue, he had a huge snake vang stuck in his leg and he was dead. I cried for awhile before i decided to interpret this but, came up short.

If anyone knows, or has any knowledge of dream interpretation i would really love the advice.

I normally dont remember my dreamz with such great detail but i did for this one.

  1. Ok, I'm just going to wing this one--

The strawberry blonde woman represents you:  you've never seen her before because it's a part of yourself you're not in touch with (or, because the dream is from the perspective of a part of you that's not in touch with her).  She's playing football with your son:

Football is a manly sport.  So, the woman represents the playful part of you that celebrates preparing your son for manhood.  The dreaming part represents the fear you have of separation, of losing your little boy as you anticipate his adulthood.

The dreaming part is paralysed because you won't act on that fear -- you know how some women will do their best to keep their sons babies, preventing them from becoming adults -- that's not you.  And yet, that means (to your mind) you'll be faced with this loss.

You're doing the right thing.  Treat your little boy as much like a man as he's ready for and he'll grow up fine.  The stronger you make that basis now, the less he'll need to make a break to renegotiate your adult relationship when the time comes.

    Conrad.

  2. The woman is you. You have a fear that your son will be killed by some sort of animal and you can't do anything about it.

  3. Do you worry about him either starting school or moving on within the school? Perhaps he is quite a shy child and you worry about him mixing and possibly being picked on?  He feels like a sensitive child and you are very protective over him. Maybe you worry that you won't be able to protect him like you want to when he is away from you. This is about your concerns over him, not his safety, don't worry.
