This is pure gibberish and I'm not asking for feedback on if its good or not. I just want to know what you think the meaning of this would be if it were to have one:
You mutter how the grass has turned green
Everybody knows, but they don't know what you mean
They understood, words perfect and still
Thoughts are smashed, looking for thrills
You see them through your crooked eyes
Faces fogged, Lips filled with lies
Show them the truth
Point to the sky
Look to the ground then choke them with their ties
Sometimes they can't see what's in front of your nose
You're sure you've got a finger on it, but it's only your toe
There's not trace, Out of time, Out of place (praise?)
So wander down a familiar road
Search and count the steps til' it's shown
That though your books told you tales of Rome
You're in another land with no direction home
If you read this you're wonderful. Thanks.
Aha. I think I'm going to make this gibberish into a folk song.
