  1. Number 1.

  2. I like the first wedding dress bettr.

  3. I think the second one would be more flattering.

  4. Hate the second one! No offense, but I think it looks rather cheap and tacky. I really like the first one though. Google Maggie Sottero, she makes some beautiful dresses!

    Good luck!

  5. I Know What You Mean About Big b***s Sucking. I'm An E-F & Finding Dresses That Fit & Look Good Is Hard.

Personally, I Like The 2nd One Best. It's Much More Flattering To Your Shape & It Suits Your Body Type Much Better.

The Gathered Look On The 1st One Doesn't Really Suit The Fact That The Top Half Is Kinda Like A Corset, Personally I Think Wedding Dresses Should Either Have An Eye Catching Top Or Bottom - Not Both. It Looks To Over The Top.

It Suited Her Sooo Well & Was Very Flattering & Pretty.

Perhaps You Could Look For A Dress Like This.

  6. I'm a 40DDD so I understand your dilemma. Unfortunately strapless is the most unflattering thing you could do for yourself. I like the second dress, and the dress you own already is very nice too. I went with an off the shoulder dress because it didn't make my arms look as big, yet it still had somewhat of a strapless feel without being unflattering. This was my dress. I got mine from DB but it is discontinued now. (it was a few years ago)This is a picture of a remake (incredibly close btw)

This isn't off the shoulder but might be flattering on the bust line

    Good Luck.

Maybe with some good alterations the dress you have will look great.

Also, make sure you have the correct undergarments on when trying on the dresses. Get measured for a bra - your size probably changed due to the baby and most likely you are wearing the wrong size (almost everyone wears the wrong size) GL

  7. the third one!!

  8. I'm assuming that's you in the photos.  I'm going to probably make this hard on you.  I like the skirt in the 2nd photo, but the bodice of the first.  I do not like the skirt in the 1st dress, those pick up points are very busy, and bring the eye downward.  But, that bodice really emphasizes the curves in your waist.  Granted, the 2nd bodice isn't altered, and once that dress is fitted properly, it will do the same thing.  You also get the vertical lines going with the modified basque (where it points to a V in front) waist, and the detail around the hem, which ALL girls appreciate.   So, once you get it altered, I think you'll like the 2nd dress better than the first one.  You've got many more vertical lines going with that dress, plus you'll emphasize your natural curves.  So I'd probably go with the 2nd.

edit:  I know you want strapless, but with your bust size (and I could tell from the photos you are very well endowed)  ;-)  strapless just isn't your best bet.  That halter will be much more supportive, and in the long run, more comfortable all night long rather than a strapless.  If I sold you the strapless gown, I'd HIGHLY recommend adding straps to it, which totally defeats the purpose of the strapless gown to begin with.

    Good luck!

edit:  Just about ANY bridal store can help you--you'd be in plus sizes (simply because of your bust), but that's ok.  Call around to the smaller stores in your area.  Since you've looked at David's, check out this line of dresses http://www.alfredangelo.com/Collections/...  On their website, you should be able to find a retailer in your area that carries their line.  Similar to David's, but much better quality, plus you get much more personalized service from an independently owned store.

  9. I hate the first one! But it's because of all the poof and circumstance going on at the bottom...I think those poof bottoms make people look like they're either a marshmallow or trying to be a cloud!

I think the second one is some much nicer and more "bridal".

However, if you like one more than the other go with that not with what any of us on here have to say.

  10. I like the bodice on #1, it makes you look really curvy. You could possibly pull off a style like this. http://www.houseofbrides.com/product.php... I'm gonna tell you something that I was told when I went to try on my dresses. If you're worried about looking too top heavy(busty) try on dresses with some sort of embellishment, or design lower on the dress. This helps to draw the eye downward so the focus would be there instead of being on the top part of your body. Just thought i'd throw that in.

    Good Luck!

P.S. For being a busty girl you wear a strapless rather well. I think you could still pull it off.

  11. The second one flatters your full figure better.

Sorry, but the first is horrible and the third isn't good for you.

  12. I like the first one best. The second seems too busy.

  13. I like the second one. They are both pretty, but the first one is just not my kind of dress personally. Also I think for you, if that is you in the pic, then the second one would offer more support up top.

  14. I LOVE the first one on you! A- line gowns and princess gowns work WONDERS for curvy ladies. The corset bodice sucks you in, smooths you out, and really gives you that hourglass shape. I think you look wonderful without straps: no spill over or tugging = A+! I also love the detailing at the bottom of the gown. Best of luck and Happy Marriage!                                                     ~Riana~

  15. I like the second. the first one she looks stuffed into the dress.

  16. 2 looks better try house of brides

  17. i like number 1 but i hate number 2 i think you are lucky you have b***s i dont :( but anyways you seem very determined to have a strapless dress and i think number 1 looks beautiful on you but if your not fully happy with it DONT BUY IT just keep looking im sure you will find the dress of your dreams

good luck with everything and congratulattions on your wedding

  18. I assume it's you in the photos yes? The third one looks the best.

  19. The first dress is prettier and more trendy, but the second dress is more flattering to your figure.  If I were you, I'd avoid all strapless styles.

  20. i like the 2nd one best. the first one is ok but there is sooo much going on.   good luck

  21. I like the first dress it makes your waist look smaller, and it fits your bust much better. Why did you buy the dress if it was too big? The bridal salon does alterations don't they?

  22. The first dress is my favorite. It is very princessy. You look curvy and nice. You do realize you can wear a strapless even if you have a big chest right? (You wrote- Its horrible... I have a 38ddd-e and I want a strapless sooooooo bad! :( Big b***s suck!)  I am a 34...well....I don't want to discuss that, but I wear a bigger bra than you and I am getting a strapless. You just have to make sure it is tight in the waist area and the b***s do the work of holding up the dress. We curvy women need to represent! :-D Big b***s rule! LOL

  23. I really don't like the first dress because of the bottom part. I like the second one better, it's pretty. But I hate the first dress style honestly.

  24. I like the first one's style...but the sheer skirt in the first one doesn't match the top.

The 2nd one is more traditional...but it's not strapless.

Have you considered having a strapped dress made strapless.

    I think you're in David's Bridal...try a group USA.  AWESOME dresses!!

  25. i dont like either but if i had to pick one .. i'd go with the second one.

  26. i like the second one more to be honest good luck with your big day

  27. they both look nice, but I like the first one better. and I know how you feel about the big b***s thing lol they make all clothes for flat-chested people! lol

  28. The first one looks like a pile of Kleenex with a bustier on top. Ick. I think that whole "fluffy-pick-up-skirt" thing is way too trendy. You know how you can look at a wedding album from the 80s or early 90s, and with all the big poofy sleeves, super-shiny fabrics, and teased hair you can TELL it was the 80s or early 90s? That's exactly what you don;t want to happen 20 years from now. You don't want your daughter to say, "Well, that was definitely a 2008 wedding! Look at that dress!" This is why, when it comes to bridal fashion, we avoid "trendy". You want to look timeless and classic. Not the time to take a fashion risk.

The second dress is much more classic in fabric and in the cut. If  you've narrowed it down to those 2, i'd go with that one.

If you're open to trying on more dresses, though, you have the perfect figure for one of those bateau neckline styles: http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=h...   This neckline paired with an a-line skirt will show off your hourglass curves, all the while looking sophisticated and demure. It's a classic look (think Audrey Hepburn) that will stand the test of time. And it's a big bonus that when you lean over to greet your uncle at his table, you won't be giving him an eyeful of cleavage. You'll be super-comfy all night. :)

If you just can't bear the thought of trying on another dress, I'd go with the second one. With a single or double layer fingertip length veil and a small floral, jeweled, or even feather-decorated comb, it will be gorgeous.

Edit: I just saw the third picture. That is definitley my favorite of the 3 also. I disagree that busty women don't look good in strapless dresses. It's all in the cut. But i do think that strapless dresses are a little too tendy. Sure, the trend has held on for a few years, but it's still not going to be an enduring style. It will come and go. just my opinion on that, though. lol What I'm getting at is.... well, think about this: think of all the fairy tale princesses. Think of all the real life princesses (Grace Kelly, Princess Di). Did any of them wear strapless dresses? Nope.

    Here's Cinderella: http://www.cartoondollemporium.com/disne...

    Here's Sleeping Beauty: http://www.princessmonkey.com/disney/dol...

Here's The Little Mermaid (my favorite princess): http://www.collecto-mania.com/disney/200...

Here's Grace Kelly (oh. my. god. I LOVE that dress and veil!): http://www.dcnearlyweds.com/uploaded_ima...

Here's Princess Di (here's an example of an "it was the 80s" dress. lol but sleeves, nonetheless): http://www.geocities.com/princess_diana_...

And, my own personal style idol, Jackie O. :http://www.weddingdressesgallery.com/ima...

See? None of them is strapless. I rest my case. lol

  29. I think the second one is much more tacky, so i like the first one more

  30. Second makes you seem slimmer but then I can't see your arm. You have a really large chest(lucky!!! I'm flat as a board! lol) So have you tried a halter wrap like dress? If not ask to try one on you might like it a lot.

  31. To be honest, I love the strapless one. If you alter the dress to fit your waist, it should stay up regardless. Congrats on the wedding.
