I work for a bagel company. our particular store is a coporate owned store. im the type of employee where i work hard and don't complain much about anything. i work the hours that are handed to me with no specific needs and i never say anything when they work me a week straight with no day off. which is usually rare. i have been through some anxiety lately. i miscarried for the 2 time a few months ago. comming back to work almost right away, i only took a couple days off with dr orders. my manager whom is the president of the company all nonchalaly says to me that one of the employees i work with was complaining about how i just took two days off (this was started because she had called off for a medical problem, she was having a rough pregnancy for the second trimester), so he said that he told her in these exact words "She had a miscarriage for god sake!" it took some time but it hit me, Did he really say this to me post miscarriage. i mean is that uncalled for or what....
