  1. Russian female pole-vaulter Yelena Isinbayeva attempting to break her pole-vaulting WR and then ultimately succeeding on her third and final one. As she was preparing for her last attempt at the end of the track, i could see in her eyes that she herself knows that she would surely break it. And she did. The 90,000 people in the Bird's Nest erupted. Everyone was willing her to beat the 5.05m and make the new WR. Her expression when she landed was priceless. It was a fantastic sight. I was so d**n happy for her. It was not only the greatest moment for me, it was pure inspiration.


  2. Bolt winning the 200m in record time. This is only b/c of how easily he won the 100m, it was awesome to see him try and run flat out for the WR.
