And yes I do realize that the House of Rep and the Senate is all part of Congress. And I was asking this question of Democrats. But those of you who had the sarcastic answers just proves to me why the Democrats really need to be back in power.

  1. TELL EVERYONE THAT YOU KNOW TO VOTE ! VOTE VOTE VOTE ..

    VOTE OR DIE ! =]

  2. Find a serious candidate.

  3. vote democrat

    very simple

  4. Mass hypnotism of the American voters is your only hope.Democrats blew it by nominating Osama Obama.Hillary would have beaten John McCain but Obama won't.

  5. Elect Obama.

  6. In order for democrats OR republicans to get their candidate into the white house, they must get out and vote! Many registered voters won't vote.  As for people who would like to see a woman president, vote McCain because he's old, in poor health & may possibly not finish his term.  Sarah Palin is just as qualified to be prez as Obama, if you're looking at age and experience.  It's hard not to be caught up in the obamamania but give this woman the same chance you give Obama, she just took the stage, listen to her before you judge her, she'll surprise you and maybe even change a few obamabot minds.

  7. Put a ******* in the WHITE House.

  8. You do realize that the Senate is PART of Congress, right?

Anyway, voting for what we believe in is all we can do. I hope people are at least doing this much.

  9. We have to get up off our *** and work like dogs.

Then we have to contact the lawyers from stopping the Republicans from cheating.

Not only are Republicans liars, they are cheaters as well.

  10. Hope that Obama is prosecuted for money-laundering before November.

And, hope that Obama is disqualified for not being constitutionally eligible by November.

So that we could have a nomination do-over and Hillary would win in November.

However, they will both probably happen after November which would probably mean a Prez McCain.

But, Congress is in the bag.

  11. It will never happen with Obama

  12. Vote Obama Biden 08

I am going to make sure everyone I know is registered.  I'm also giving them rides to vote.

  13. Get more Voters to the polls.

  14. Vote Democrat.

  15. My answer will not be sarcastic, just the truth: Lie, cheat, and steal votes as usual.

  16. Other than ourselves voting for Democratic candidates, we have to make sure that we can convince our friends, our relatives, anyone who will listen that the last 8 years have been a disaster and if you really want more of the same, then vote for McCain and Palin. Then again, it's been my experience that some people will never change their minds no matter how much you tell them the truth.

  17. I know this question wasn't directed at me, because I am an Independent.

But considering 1/3 of the country is Democrat, 1/3 Republican and 1/3 Independent.  We are the swing voters.

I really like Obama, I would like to vote for him this fall.

    BUT

I do not want a rubber stamp for Pelosi.  If Pelosi were to resign, Obama would win by a landslide.  Most Independents, I believe even Democrats do not like her.

If she stays speaker of the house.  I'm afraid Obama will lose.  And all the mean talking about Palin, and jokes about McCain will do nothing to change anyones mind.

I know it wasn't for me, but I couldn't help it, I really like him,  BUT.....

  18. It's too late now, sorry to say.

  19. Send Obama back to Indonesia.

  20. Talk to as many people as possible about the differences between these candidates.  Remind them about the economy, education, health care and stopping the Iraq war.  McCain would like to stay in Iraq, we should be in Afghanistan, Iran and now the Georgia/Russia situation.... Young people need to be looking very seriously at that. McCain is not against the draft. This is what is on his website:

"A greater military commitment now is necessary if we are to achieve long-term success in Iraq. John McCain agrees with retired Army General Jack Keane that there are simply not enough American forces in Iraq. More troops are necessary to clear and hold insurgent strongholds; to provide security for rebuilding local institutions and economies; to halt sectarian violence in Baghdad and disarm Sunni and Shia militias; to dismantle al Qaeda; to train the Iraqi Army; and to embed American personnel in Iraqi police units. Accomplishing each of these goals will require more troops and is a crucial prerequisite for needed economic and political development in the country. America's ultimate strategy is to give Iraqis the capabilities to govern and secure their own country."

I'd like to see a woman become president, but not this woman. McCain is 72 and his health is not great. This woman was a town mayor and has been a Governor for only two years. That is not enough experience to be President. Clearly, that doesn't matter to Republicans.

  21. Find another Presidential candidate, and try to convince America that that witch Nasty Pilosi and the other democrat twits on the hill are actually getting anything done.

  22. Vote.

And convince white male blue collar types that it's OK to vote DEM and for Obama. I can't believe they aren't yet convinced that he cares about them -  unlike the GOP who courts them, then outsources their jobs.

And they still don't get it.

  23. Mass hypnosis or drugging the water supply might work. Or how about flooding our young people with empty rhetoric? Oh that's right, you're doing that now!

  24. Promise everything to everyone and tax "the rich" to pay for it. Replace responsibility with entitlement. Yep, that'll work.

    /sarcasm

Jim P: Not only are Republicans liars, they are cheaters as well.

If we are, it's because we learned from the likes of "Landslide" Lyndon Johnson (first political attack ad and career ballot box stuffer) and JFK and his organized crime connections that delivered dead voters from Chicago to tip Illinois -- and the electoral college -- in his favor.

Don't believe me? If you know somebody who lives in the city of Chicago, ask them to put a McCain/Palin sign on their lawn for JUST ONE DAY and see what happens. I bet they get a visit from their ward boss before lunchtime.

  25. Pray. it's your only chance.

  26. Take drugs.

  27. Get rid of Obama for a starter.

  28. Umm i think the person was asking DEMOCRATS not Republicans  you just have to Vote for Obama/Biden on Election say and cross your fingers and hope for the best
