I'll tell you i'm sick of it, but I just ignore it nowadays.

But still it hurts when I hear someone say

"I don't like him, because he's black"

or

"I don't like him cuz his name rhymes with 'Osama"

What do you think/say/do when you hear people say this?

I've called someone a racist *b* [because I was sitting near the lady close enough to hear her tell a guy who look pretty shocked, and all I wanted to do was read a book but it kept on bothering me. So I told her off and just laughed and walked away] and I've also told off a guy for saying the whole 'Osama/Obama' thing.

  1. I don't hear anything like that anymore.

It's all been overshadowed by liberals insulting Palin.

  2. I feel for them.  Ignorance is bliss.  I think they are fearful and insecure about change.   That's so unfortunate that some of us have not progressed into the 21st century.

  3. You know.. People keep saying that they hear people saying that, "I don't like him, because he's black" I have NEVER heard anyone say this..  This is crazy.. What I am tired of is when people have a problem with Obama for a legit reason but they are always classified as being racist. There are just as many people supporting him because he IS black than there are that are not be cause he is black..

  4. i don't like the way his opponents get dragged through the mud and yet his supporters say it is mere coincidence barrack has defended them i think i ve seen just a little too much coincidence now

  5. Barack Obama is big enough and tough enough to stand up for himself. Let the right wing talk their trash.

  6. That's not why I hate him. i just can't get past the fact that he sat at that church for 20 years with Rev. Wright.

Can you imagine sitting at that church and the guy starts yelling all that anti-America nonsense...and you don't get up and leave? Not only that but you make friends with the guy, have him marry you and your wife, name your book after one of his quotes? And I'm going to vote for you for President of my country??? No.

  7. You are correct. Its nothing but very thinly veiled racism. Oh, they will cry and scream that they are not racists, but John Kerry wasnt treated anything like this.

Ive been looking people right in the eyes and telling them they are ignorant racists for those kind of comments. I do not suffer fools and their ignorance.

Oh, and I love the ignorant arguements that he "has no substance", "he's a liar", "he has terrorist friends" and all that c**p that panders to the radically ignorant wing of the Republican party.

Quit being afraid of black people for crying out loud.

  8. You sound young there

Has it ever occurred to you that  Obama is an inexperienced and inept empty suit, who has done nothing politically except give a few speeches?

Hmm..guess it makes us racists cause we dont want some buffoon running our entire country

  9. I don't like Obama cause he is a PHONY and liar.

  10. I must admit, I am guilty of sounding off about Obama.

I just don't believe he'll be a good fit for the country right now, the last thing we need is tax hikes in this dismal economy.

The level of experience frightens me, he is not executive material as of right now.

Granted he is charismatic, and in some circles a breath of fresh air, but his ideas could very well bankrupt the country, which could lead to us saying Yes Sir to Mexico.

The Dems should have ran him in 2012 or 2016 when he would have more experience under his belt.

People who say they are not voting for him based on color are truly showing their ignorance.

    Blue Collar for McCain/Palin

  11. Please, those people have already made up their minds. They are not voting for Obama. This is not an election about race and insults have been made on both ends. I think most of us have moved on a long time ago, from throwing the race card around and ridiculous name calling. Obama wouldn't have made it to this point in the Presidential Election if we were all focusing on race and gender. What matters are the issues and what you support. Everyone knows this by now. These people don't support Obama. Their mind was made up long before and it's not because he's black or because of his name, so get over it, and move on, vote for who you want, and be done with it. Throwing a tantrum or yelling at someone in public does not convince them of anything.

  12. We are not insulting him, we are telling you the truth. What you choose to do with it, is up to you. It's your funeral not mine. Democrat for McCain/Palin 2008.

  13. It shows that some American people are still milestones away from being perfect.  Anyone that speaks like that is a Racist... He is a good man, a good husband... and he has the interest of the American people first before the big Oil Companies. Its time to halt the tax breaks to big Oil companies out there. They are making billions of dollars but can't pay the right amout of taxes as they should. Pretty sad when people are losing their homes.

  14. Straight up, I dislike him.

But when I hear the Obama/Osama thing (which reminds me, anyone remember when Ted Kennedy made that slip-up?), or a racial slur, I tend to think that the person is an idiot.

Now if they insult him on policy and they can back their comment with logic, then I think the person is okay.

  15. You know, if you opened a All White College or had a White College Scholarship Fund...the Rainbow Coalition would be all over you calling you a racist.

I dislike how he has many shady sides to him.  You see his name all over, but not his full name.  He does not promote the fact he is not slightly black.  His mother is white yes, but his father is a black muslim.

Barack Obama has a cousin named Raila Odinga. Odinga and Obama are from the same Kenyan Luo tribe. Odinga supporters are the people that are burning Christians alive, trapped inside churches! Most of Odinga's fanatical followers are radical Islamists who have pushed for Islamic Sharia Law, total banning of other religions and closing of co-ed schools, night clubs and ‘public dressing style considered immoral’. Odinga was educated in Former Soviet controlled East Germany and maintains a strong loyalty to the vision of his ‘Educators’ and has allied with Islamist in order to gain their political support.

In 2006 Obama took a trip to Kenya and voiced his support for his fellow tribesman and political ally, Odinga. Obama also directly attacked the sitting Kenyan leadership (Kibaki) calling them ‘corrupt’ (Kenya is one of the most stable places in Africa).

Odinga is the man that ran on the socialist democrat ticket in Kenya and lost to sitting president Kibaki.

It’s not getting reported in the media that the looting and burning of businesses in Kisumu was targeted to both Kikuyus and Kenyan Indians. The economy of Kenya is controlled by these two groups because they are Entrepreneurial. But Kenyan Indians rarely get involved in Kenyan politics, they do not vote by choice, yet the Luos in Kisumu do not like them, that’s why their stores were getting burnt too.

A Tribe of 540,000 Kikuyu, rivals of the Luo for Power, all but vanishes from Kenyan City ethnically cleansed and massacred by Odinga’s butchers.

Yet Obama interrupted his New Hampshire campaigning to speak by phone with Odinga, his cousin. He did not speak with Kenyan President Mwai Kibaki.  Odinga has now made a deal for support with Muslim fundamentalists.  A photograph copy of a Memorandum of Understanding, dated and signed on August 29, 2007, between Raila Odinga and Shiekh Abdullah Abdi, chairman of the National Muslim Leaders Forum of Kenya.

Here is a summary on the agreement which was signed:  It pledges the support of Kenyan Moslems for Raila’s election. In return, as President of Kenya, Raila agrees to 14 actions, listed a) through n) on page two.

    * Within 6 months re-write the Constitution of Kenya to recognize Shariah as the only true law sanctioned by the Holy Quran for Muslim declared regions.

    * Within one year facilitate the establishment of a Shariah court in every Kenyan divisional headquarters. [Note: everywhere in Kenya, not just in “Muslim declared regions.”]

    * “Popularize Islam, the only true religion by ordering every primary school in Kenya in the regions to conduct daily Madrassa classes.”  ÃƒÂ¢Ã‚€ÂœImpose a total ban on open-air gospel crusades by worshippers of the cross…”  ÃƒÂ¢Ã‚€ÂœOutlaw gospel programs… on KBC, the National Broadcaster.”  ÃƒÂ¢Ã‚€ÂœImpose a total ban on the public consumption of alcoholic beverages…”  ÃƒÂ¢Ã‚€ÂœImpose an immediate ban on women’s public dressing styles that are considered immoral and offensive to the Muslim faith…”

Raila Odinga has, in his own words, a “close personal friendship” with Barrack Hussein Obama. When Obama went to Kenya in August of 2006, he was hosted by Raila and spoke in praise of him at rallies in Nairobi.  Obama’s bias for his fellow Luo was so blatant that a Kenya government spokesman denounced Obama during his visit as Raila’s “stooge.” http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=149_11995...

In the recent elections in Kenya, violence broke out as Raila lost the elections: This past weekend, women and children and entire families were burned alive as a crowd of Kenyans torched a church where they had gathered to protect themselves.  The cause of the violence was Odinga’s inflammatory comments about the election:  When Raila Odinga lost the presidential election last week (12/27) to Mwai Kibaki, he claimed the vote was rigged, whereupon his tribal followers went on murderous rampages such as in the town of Eldoret, where on New Years Day dozens of people were burned to death in a church set on fire. Throughout Kenya, hundreds of people have been politically murdered in the last few days.

At first a million man march was planned but Obama put in some frantic 11th hour calls to his cousin to call that off, since it would reflect badly on his campaign at home.

(BTW Yahoo cuts you off if you are too long!!)

Scrappy- Apparently you did not see his campaigning here in Europe.  It was nothing but s**t and smear.

  16. Have you read the answers and questions on yahoo, sometime i have to get off yahoo answers because of the haters on both sides! it make me sad that as a country we have not come as far as we would all like to thing we have come! that hate rule their hearts and minds!

  17. Senator Obama is keeping it clean and smooth, he takes the high road and that is what will put him in Office, that is how he defeated his 8 competitors!

When Hillary was negative he was positive, and ppl choose positive over negative, Now McCain is negative, he is uploading lousy videos on Youtube that are all about Obama and not about him, he have no chance!

  18. agree with you 100%, there are alot of very bad yokes out there in the united states, even ppl that answered this question too.

  19. I find that people who insult Barrack Obama are either fearful, uneducated, staunch followers of Rush Limbaugh or very narrow-minded. Senator Obama represents this great Country's opportunity to reintroduce itself to the world as a benevolent power as opposed to the arrogance that we all witnessed during the Bush administration. There are some of you who will thumb their noses at the rest of the world and say that we as a superpower shouldn't worry about how the rest of the world views us. This is the arrogance that I write about. Senator Obama is an articulate speaker, a highly intelligent individual, and, what he lacks in hands on political saavy, he is highly capable of surrounding himself with the best experience in the United States. Look at what the mega experience of the Bush administration has left us with. We have a crumbling economy and a record deficit and the highest oil prices in the nation's history while oil companies are enjoying whirlwind profits. People who continue to insult our next President and continue in their support of the Republican religious right baffle me. And God Bless New Orleans!

  20. You sound like a nosy busy body. If you dared to interrupt me when I'm not speaking to you. I would verbally rip you to shreds. You may not like what people are saying but if they aren't talking to you then show some class and move on. I live in Southern California and hear all kinds of lies from people about the Republicans but I'm adult enough to know my place in a conversation that I'm not a part of.  Before you call someone else a B**** you should look in the mirror. Free speech does not just apply to you.
