When I hear a statement coming from a woman candidate with any kind of perceived whine about that excess criticism or maybe a sharper microscope put on her, I think that doesn't do us any good.

I think "work harder" - prove yourself to an even greater degree that you're going to be the best candidate.

I'll tell you what, the most qualified candidate for President is McCain. The most qualified person for VP, probably Biden. Whose running for President on the Democratic ticket? Yeah, if that doesn't scare your @$$ I don't know what will. I will take her whine any day as a VP who will go through the minor leagues and learn, rather than a President who will be in the most powerful position in the world, thrust straight into the major leagues and never seen a major league fastball in his political career.

  16. I am an Obama Supporter. But I actually enjoyed hearing Palin speak tonight. The last thing I heard was someone whining...

  17. You mean you didn't like the finger wagging or snarl either?

    Darling Palin:

THE FACTS: As mayor of Wasilla, Palin hired a lobbyist and traveled to Washington annually to support earmarks for the town totaling $27 million. In her two years as governor, Alaska has requested nearly $750 million in special federal spending, by far the largest per-capita request in the nation. While Palin notes she rejected plans to build a $398 million bridge from Ketchikan to an island with 50 residents and an airport, that opposition came only after the plan was ridiculed nationally as a "bridge to nowhere."

  18. Well frankly it sounded like a Bangui howling at the moon. Palin provided no resource to change this country's directions of Bush's eight long failed years.
