What do you think when you hear the word TEXAS?

Im from Texas and was just wondering what stereo types people have about us?

i always think slow talking and a southern accent, which is not always the case. im from arkansas, so not much of a suprize huh? i also think really dry and dusty. you know those weed things that always roll by in cartoons, i think those as an afterthought...lol, but i dont really think of the people as much as i do the land.... what do you think when you hear Arkansas?

Texans are very full of themselves, thinking their state is the best in the nation.  This is based on my own personal experience.  All the Texans I have ever met have been this way.

First thing I think of is hot weather and sunshine. I also think of my vacation to Texas and the great time I had there. In Texas they have this fast food restaurant that is similar to Taco Bell (forgot the name), but way better. I don't have that where I live and it bums me out because I thought it was great! I think of a Texan accent. I think of country music and 2 songs "God bless Texas" and "All my ex's live in Texas". I picture my visit to the Alamo and experiencing it in person.

To me Texas means -

Honest to God, hard working, meat eating,  patriotic @ss kickers.

As opposed to the condescending whiny little entitlement minded liberals like Sam K,  who wouldn't touch an 'evil' gun to save their mother/sister/girlfriend from a gang rape.
