Jobbing to The Kendrik with no help from Zeke on his tv debut, despite a promo at the start could hint that he is doomed to be a tv jobber like james curtis but maybe a more established one or possibly a comedic character if he gets over in that regard??

I think Colt Cabana put over Brian Kendrick so that Kendrick can get himself over with fans as a heel.Cabana has just moved up from FCW and still has to get an angle to work with.He's a very talented technical wrestler who was in ROH along with CM Punk as the Second City Saints.I think when Cabana gets established on the roster, he could maybe challenge for Shelton Benjamin's US title.
