  1. 18 under

  2. -5 and and it wont be Tiger

  3. If memory serves, the winning score in 2002 was 2 or 4 under; I'd say you will see something around that number, barring extremes in weather (wind which could dry out the course, or rain, which in theory would soften it, making the greens softer).

The USGA did a great job this year in setting up the course; hopefully more of the same in 2009.

  4. Depends if Tiger is in the event!!  -2 if he is not -9 if he is!

  5. I think the USGA got it right this year.  They widened the fairways and allowed for some more scoring.  The rough was still a jungle, and the greens were slick.  It was still brutal tough, but everyone said it was fair.  Bethpage can be impossible tough if they want it to be.  Here's a few things to ponder.

Will it play to a par-70 again? probably.

How tough wil the placements be at 11?

How unforgiving will Heartbreak Hill  (#15) play?

And, of course, the weather at Long Island in June.

I think the winning score will be -1.  Sergio Garcia will be your winner.

  6. The winning score will be the lowest aggregate score at the end of the tournament.  Pretty simple      huh?

  7. even par
