they are always showing off that they have the fewest dropped calls, but it is truly horrible. I want to complain really bad. do you think i will get anything out of it, like say a free/discount on a phone? because my brother complained and got a big discount when he bought his phone.

  1. ATT does have the fewest dropped calls, but how many dropped calls you get depends on where you live. If you're far away from a reception tower or surrounded by trees, you'll likely have a poor signal and it just can't stay connected all the time. It has nothing to do with how good the service is, it's just impossible. It's like taking a laser pointer and trying to get it to go through six layers of plastic wrap. The light still goes through, but it's fainter and if you crumple the wrap, it may disappear entirely at times. Think of it this way: If you had a less reputable service, then the calls would drop even more often. ATT does provide decent service and their customer service isn't half bad. If you let them know that you're displeased about this, they should give you a more perceptive phone or a discount on your bill.

    Good luck!

  2. just say in a kindly manner what you really feel. its easy i've done it with verizon i got a discount also Don't worry the more complaining you do the better but do in a kindly manner. simply say i've been having horrible reception and i cant deel with it any more and you have to do something about your company and so on its easy .... Good luck

  3. If you bring it up there and as long as you got the phone through them I would. They will probably give you a better phone in exchange. Just make sure you let them know that you will bring your business elsewhere and get what you want. Tell them it doesn't live up to it's name as the fewest dropped calls. That's false advertisement.
