What do you think will happen if Ninoy is still alive?

If NINOY were still alive the Filipino would have lost one of the few things that they can look on with pride "EDSA 1-PEOPLE POWER"

NINOY boarded that plane knowing full WELL that the odds of him living were slim but he continued.

NINOY was the Statesman that the Philippines needed ever so desperately.

The Philippines would not be in the mess it is in now had he lived. He was willing to give up his life for the Philippines therefore Graft and Corruption would not be part of his Government. He would have outed all of Marcos's cronies instead of letting them continue in politics.

He would have been elected president and the Philippines wouldn't be in turmoil.

The system would have pulled him down and he'd have become just another failed, rich politician.

For one, he would have ejected Marcos from Malacañang without the need of a People Power.  Then would have been the next President serving 2 terms because of his impeccable governance.  And Kris wouldn't have gone into a relationship with Phillip Salvador (who I believed Kris was attracted to as a father-figure) but would have married someone from a prominent family.  Kris would still be in showbiz, following in the footsteps of her uncle Butch but only for fun or to while away the time.  Cory would not be seen in her favorite yellow color.  Anyway, had Ninoy lived, I am pretty certain he would retract his statement and change it from "The Filipinos are Worth Dying For to Filipinos Not Worth Dying For".

i do think it would have been different with what it is today, maybe a little better, we may still be a poor country, but at least we may still have a face to show the world

we have the worst/most corrupt/ government now in Philippine history.

on the lighter side, if Ninoy had been alive and had become president, primetime TV would not be so irritating & annoying & loud and overexaggerated

A very, very drastic change in our history.

1.  We probably wouldn't have any women president yet.  No Cory, no GMA.

2.  EDSA I & II would be like "What you talking about, girl?"

3.  We would know all our legal holidays by heart coz we would be observing them on the actual dates and not on the nearest Monday.

He would have been absorbed into and joined the ranks of a corrupt government and his fat daughter would be even fatter.  And, there would still be an element banging the drum to overthrow him.  Nothing much would be different.
