What do you think will happen to Georgia? Do you think they will receive any help?

This is a pretty darn crazy topic here. On one had- Georgia did attack first, on the other, Russia's retaliation is unjust and aggressive. I gotta say I kinda figured this would happen right when i saw the news that Geogria had attacked Russia. I didn't forsee the outside involvment from the United States however. Hypothetically, If we dont get involved and Russia stays as stubborn as they're being right now- Georgia will become Russian territory. But, unfortunaly the U.S. has ties with the Georgian government and if this keeps up we will most likely get involved... not the best thing in the world. This is kinda scary as this could end up in a full scale war against Russia. I'm hopeing that Geogia most definately receives help- but not so much from us. Not because we're selfish but because this could once again sparktensions with Russia.

I can't imagine the Europeans doing much.

The US is stretched pretty thin on ground troops.

Perhaps the Chinese are ready to be a superpower?  Historically though they have seemed pretty content to stay in their own neighborhood.

I think the Georgians are screwed.

i think if the people want to be separated so be it.  civilians need to step up otherwise.  what the he// is wrong with people ?

not from this country.  Looks like a hopeless cause like Hungry in the 1950's ..nobody helped them against their uprising against the USSR
