What do you think will happen to Josh Smith?

a) Sign and trade. To who? For who?

b) Huge contract extension from the Hawks.

c) One year qualifying deal...he's an unrestricted FA next summer.

The Hawks really can't let him go, can they? They already lost J Chill...that can't lose Smoov, can they? I'm not a Hawks fan, but I wonder a Hawks fan feels like would be fair for him? What say u?

Im kinda leaning towards C. He doesnt want to be in ATL plus they dont want to pay him, so its a lose-lose situation for J-Smoove. I dont see a sign and trade happening either.

If he and the team can agree, they should sign him to a long term extension and lock him up for the next few years. I mean he is it for them, if the Hawks lose him either this year or next year they are screwed. They really can't let him go.

And no, the Hawks cannot let him go. They lost J-Chill, they didnt get a good enough player(or players) to replace him, so J-Smoove cannot leave!! That would tear the Hawks up. And as a HUGE Hawks fan, I say B would be fair for him......!!!!!!!

well childress was a MOP first of all..probably the highest paid player on his team overseas and obviously thats saying something....USA will definatly win the gold this year..having said that:

i dont know what will happen to smith..i wouldnt be surprised if he ends up on the 76ers or someother team..but he does sell tickets..they need to sign him. hops like lebron...but a worse jumpshot than lebron...lebron cant shoot himself, he plays great D ..if he comes up with a jumpshot then he would be a superstar...hes young..and has time to develop his potential..it would be smart for the hawks to bring him back
