Do you think the 'mini black holes' will destroy our world?

Are you someone that thinks they are playing 'God'?

Or, do you think it will see in a new era of scientific understanding of the universe?

  1. i think it will be a new era of understanding. there wont be any black hole catastrophe. we would be swallowed up too fast to care anyway.

  2. Proton beams are already in use, and the world is still here.

Proton beams were used to demonstrate the conversion of lithium metal to helium gas. No black holes were created, and the world is still here.

The black holes that could possibly form are too small to be effective. If our own Sun is incapable of forming a black hole, these proton beams will not form anything of significant danger.

I don't believe they are "playing God". They are trying to understand basic facts about physics and the Universe. What is wrong with that?

  3. It will be new era of scientific understanding.

There is very little chance that mini black holes will be formed.

Even if mini black holes are formed, they will not destroy the world.

Already there are black holes in the universe. Why are they not eating up the whole universe? This is because a black hole eats up only the matter inside its event horizon. For mini black holes, the event horizon will be very close to the black hole. So, if some particle very close to these mini black holes gets destroyed, it will not destroy the world.

In fact, the size of event horizon will be so small that it will not be visible to naked eyes.

    So, no problem.
