If the lights went out all over the world for a day what do you think would happen????.

  1. I'D HAVE TO EAT MY 2 INCH THICK T-BONE STEAK COOKED ON MY WOOD STOVE AND USE MY BATTERY LIGHTS.


  2. I like a few others would still have what we got now.

    Lights where we need them. (solar power is nice that way)

    And more people would look at the solar, wind power

    Well some would just wine about no Cell phone TV Xbox

    And it would be a good wake up call ..

  3. as in electricity or lights as in light bulbs, does this include solar panels and other forms of energy producing options like windmills? Also you might want to check out history because we would be able to survive for a day if everything great that ever happened in the world happened with little or no electricity ,but i must  answer your question with a question. what would happen to a two year old spoiled rotten child if its toy(s) or prized possession(s) is taken away?

  4. Not much, as in when the power grid collapsed in the summer of 2003 and the Eastern half of the United States didn't have power for three days.  Being able to see the stars at night was a treat.

  5. water pumping stations would stop

    sewage treatment plants would stop

    people in hospitals on dialysis or life support would die

    most of the world is one day away from starvation...if their food supplies go......

    radios radar etc off? no air transport........

  6. see in india in metro cities we have light all day long-------but insome states as Uttar pradesh we have a cut out of electricity for 8 to 12 hr sometime and then we live on generators -----------hardly any thin 4 me-if for 4 days its gone!

  7. Mostly the people that would react the most are Americans, almost everything we do involves electricity.

  8. In larger US cities like Las Angeles and New Orleans, there would be rioting as opportunists take advantage of the situation.

  9. I remember what happened in New York City in the

    1960's when  almost the entire city was without

    lights or electricity for I think about 2 days.

    9 months later, they had a mini baby boom.

    Cold nights make for some hot beds.
