if there was a huge vegan/veggie chain resturant(like mcdonald or tacobell)

& they only sold veg dishes

would it be a bust?orwould it be simply awsome?what do you think

That would be awesome.  I wouldn't care though because I already eat at the long life veggie house.  best food ever.  hardly anyone there.  nice people.

There are so many factors that determine if a business is going to be successful or not. So many things go into planning a business. Most businesses that fail, did not do the proper planning, such as looking at the market demand for their product/service, setting themselves apart from the competition, making sure they are in a good location, etc.

Personally I think the market is too small to support such a business. It is not just small because there are less vegetarians than people who consume meat, but also because many vegetarians choose their diet for health reasons. I myself have never felt better for cutting out fast food, which provides no nutritional value and is simply expensive food for less quality.

Most fast food joints rely on repeat customers, people that frequent some type of fast food 3-4 times per week. I believe the majority of vegetarian are not junk food junkies and could support the business by buying a veggie burger 2 or three times a week.

Personally I would rather cook my own veggie burger and homemade baked fries. When I feel like "fast food" I go to subway or an Indian restaurant downtown that has veggie wraps. I personally do not buy quick meals all that often, so while it would be nice to have the option, I can't see myself using it all that often.

No, there is no fast food vegetarian/vegan place..  I honestly don't think it would survive if it didn't also server meat dishes.  I was vegetarian for awhile but most of my friends ate meat, so we would go to a place that served both.  I gave it up after four years and started to eat meat again - along with everyone else I know who tried it.

Not a huge chain I do not believe but there are veggie restaurants.

I am a vegan but I kind of think the idea wouldn't pan out. In America people eat waaaay to much **** that is bad for them, it is unlucky the idea of a healthy fast food place would take too well.

Our numbers as veggies are just not enough to sustain it.

It all depends on location

You would prolly do okay or good in a city with a lot of different types of people. Plus, if your going to to a restruant like that.. it's going to be expensive seeing how there aren't many stores like it. (or in the south there aren't) it would a little more on the expensive side and you need buissness ppl who are goign to go to places like that.

If you were to do it in the country. The food would have to be cheap, and it woudl have to be a dress down type of place. People in the areas are looking for good fresh foods for low prices (seeing how they live by the woods.. most of them hunt for hobbies)

I personaly would love it! (if it was healthy that is.... not really like deep fried veggies and such b/c i am trying to stick with a healthier eating habit)

aww that would be amazing! i dont think there is a Vegan restaurant chain, but i know that the KFC chain in Canada now serves vegan products along with theyre regular menu....makin progress....(:

That would be awesome! I just think they shouldn't tell people that is is all vegan because most people would judge it and say "I'm not going to a vegan restaurant!" before trying it out.

i bet if those restraunts switched from real meat, to fake meat for a day( and didnt tell anyone)...that only a few people would notice lol
