  1. WWE would never have hired him, since he had no wrestling background, unless they hired him to be a jobber for other wrestlers to beat up. He would have been just another big football player looking to break into wrestling.

  2. Goldberg would have stayed in development camp for another 2 years longer than he did in WCW's development camp, and when he came to the WWE main roster he may have been a better wrestler and not injuried so many workers in his short career. He would have been a heel and may have feuded with the Rock and Stone Cold but he wouldn't have got far because he lacked great mic skills.

  3. i think he would have been a better person, being in WWE would have made him work harder as a wrestler... he would have had abigger move set and been just an all around better wrestler. he probably wouldnt have been as popularyou are right. im gonna say that some austin goldberg matchups would be classic, or goldberg vs HHH. i dont think Wcw would have lasted as long as it did with out goldberg either

  4. 2 things: First, yes, Goldberg would not have been nearly as successful and never would have had that streak. His character in WCW was a knock-off of Austin appearance wise, and I think having two bald-headed, goateed, black-trunked marquee stars would have hurt both their careers. He probably would have been buried in WWE because he lacked the one thing that gets most of their big stars over (or in Cena's case WAY TOO OVER)--charismatic personality. WWE has buried people without personality before who did have wrestling talent (i.e. Ken Shamrock or Chris Benoit's ridiculously short title reign) but Goldberg lacked both personality and real wrestling ability. He was horrible in the ring, and really hurt many of his opponents. Don't forget, he ended the career of the greatest of all time, Bret Hart due to a miscued move. Goldberg would never have been the star in WWE that he was in WCW.

Second, WCW would never have experienced the top success it did without him. He was precisely the cartoon character/hoax WCW needed to counter the equally cartoonigh Hogan/nWo. Goldberg was good marketing and without him WCW would not have made it. Just look at what happened to their ratings after the real nWo and Goldberg disappeared from the main picture and WCW became the Jarrett/Steiner/Booker T happy hour.

Goldberg was way too overblown. In all honesty I do not think he should even end up in the Hall of Fame. If he did start in WWE he probably would have feuded with mid-carders like Ken Shamrock, Dan Severn, and other brawler/UFC types.

  5. He probably would have been over-looked because that is when Austin, Rocky, and HBK had their breakthrough careers. Goldberg's style was not attitude era material.

He made a name for himself in WCW. than became a p**s poor athlete with Locker Room problems in the WWE
