  1. If two black holes collide, they would merge into a larger black hole. The merger would theoretically create gravity waves that should be detectable with the LIGO observatories in Washington and Louisiana. Black hole mergers are certain to occur when galaxies collide and merge, with their central super massive black holes merging into an even larger black hole.

  2. Theoretically.....I think......that the greater of the two will start the strongest reaction. it is a reaction to and end resolving in a final event which will then begin a new journey in the opposite direction.

  3. They would merge into a more massive black hole

  4. good question.

on the one hand black holes are black so maybe they would simply merge and you would only be able to tell from the gravitational waves radiated from them.

on the other hand two black holes colliding carry a lot of energy and all of this pent up gravitational energy might be released in a catastrophic explosion.

honestly we don't really know what would happen, i kinda think the explosion one is most likely though.

  5. if they were equal, they would merge into one larger in size, if one is smaller, the larger one would absorb the smaller one with out change in the overall size.

  6. A merger of the two black holes will occur. However, because black holes have massive "stores" of energy, the merger will result in the most powerful explosion in nature.

  7. if the collision is clockwise vs clockwise then black holes reach level 2 winding. if the collision is clockwise vs opposite clockwise and both have same lvl1 then all matters inside it will stop moving. its depending on levels, stages , and clockwise vs unclockwise, of black holes binding forces.

  8. well, pretty much one of the most uneventful things in the universe. nothing can escape them, so there is no debris like there would be in a planet or a star collision.

  9. lol, cool question

i would think that itd be like 2 play-doh-like magnets colliding together, the bigger one would eat the smaller one

If they were both EXACTLY equal black holes, i would imagine they be stuck together, one not sucking in the other since they both have the same gravitational pull strength

  10. if two black holes collide, both will be destroyed

    1) black holes can suck up anything ! so both black holes will suck each other and may-

      1)get reduced or

       2) be vanished !
