What do you think young people can do, to help stop the destruction of the environment?

buy things locally, shipping is a huge issue that we over look, only buy things in season, avoid over packaged products, stop using chemicals in the home and on your body, educate your friends and eventually you children on your beliefs, sign those petitions, call or email your mlas all the time for info or to complain, let companies know when you stop using there products and WHY, encourage others to use their voice, they wont listen until they have to... turn down your heat and wear a sweater, esp at night cause you wont notice it when you sleep anyway. take advantage of sunlight in the home, hey grow a mini garden, just do everything you can and lead by example, the list goes on and on. but mostly hold companies and govt accountable, they literally are getting away with murder

Bring a lunch instead of purchasing package food at school, Be aware of the products you use and the impact they have on the environment. Start a recycling program. Be conscious of what you are doing and its impact. Ask your parents to lessen their impact as well, use greener cleaning products, dont drive unless they absolutely have to or carpool or take the bus, bring a lunch to work in reusable containers.

quit buying plasic food rappers and plastic containers filled with sick dream juice and predend happiness, Empty calories developed by your parents generations ,  development centers, making money off of the childs upset stomach, and we must quit putting sugar in your body.......send all the sugar to be refind in to car fuel,  and take all the corn sweetners too,  and put it in your car , instead of in your stomach

Sign petitions that prohibit deforestation. Or start them.

And learn about fire safety. A lot of forests burn down because people are careless with fires.

A noble quest!  I recommend researching alternative energy, determining what substances are currently in use in society and finding safer methods to reproduce the uses of those already in place, and lobbying for a decreased focus on profit margins in industrial sectors.
