  1. I grew up in Eastern Canada and moved to the Toronto area in 1998, so I've been a lifelong Jays fan and might be a little biased toward them. The Brewers I don't really know a heck of a lot about, especially since they were moved to the NL, though I have sort of followed CC Sabathia's performance since being traded there and Prince Fielder (son of former Jays' 1B Cecil Fielder).

The Brewer's obviously are more exciting to watch this year because they're contending for a play-off spot. The Jays have seen a lack of hitting prevent them from moving up, though their pitching has been outstanding with starters Halladay and Burnett, and what tonight's game announcer Rance Mulliniks called "the best bullpen in all of baseball" (don't think I agree with that statement... maybe top 3).

Toronto has some rookies like Adam Lind and Travis Snider who early on are looking good, so there's reason for optimism, just not this year.

    - R.

  2. I am not a fan of either teams, however, I am rooting for the Brewers in the playoffs. The Brewers have a very well-balanced baseball team with one of the best pitchers in the NL, C.C. The Blue Jays don't intrigue me much except for a few pitchers including their ace, Roy Halladay.

  3. Never really been a fan of either.  My teams are the Reds and Yankees and you see where they are right now. LOL.

But really, I have paid more attention to the Brewers over the last few weeks.  If they beat the Cubs out, I will be behind them.

Don't really know much about the Bluejays.  Just that they are a baseball team.

  4. Brewers are my favorite team. Bluejays I don't mind, but they are not making the playoffs this year.

  5. Brewers are on track to take the NL Wildcard spot.  The Bluejays announcers on the radio have already conceded that they are just playing spoiler right now.

  6. I think the Brewers are a high quality ball club, and I think the blue jays are an average club with good players.

I'm a big Indians fan, so I was sad to see C.C. go, but I'm happy he ended up somewhere respectable. I don't have any problems with the Brewers, so it was good to see him go there instead of Boston or New York.  In order for them to be in contention in following years, they'll need to secure at least 1 or their aces, if not both. I believe Ben Sheets' contract is up at the end of the season, as is Sabathia's.

The Brewers will win the wild card this year, and hopefully make a run in the playoffs. I think the Cubs are a little too strong for them, though.

The Blue Jays are a tough team in one of the toughest divisions in baseball. The Rays proved this year that (hopefully) someone other than the Sox or Yankees can win the division, so the Jays definitely have an optimistic look ahead. They have quality pitching (Roy Halladay obviously stands out) and pretty good hitters.

Two good teams to be fans of!

  7. I would say the Brewers because I know what's going on with them in this season. The Blue Jays are like nothing in the MLB. So I like the Brewers way more.
