  1. I read that you shouldnt do anything with baby acne and just keep their face/body clean till their skin gets used to the new environment.

    it goes away

  2. just wash their face every day, i didn't use soap every day either ; too drying, it was gone in no time; completely normal, but usually short lived

i wouldn't put lotion either, it will go away, i think it is still related to their having moms hormones, even though my gal was several weeks old when we saw a mild case of it pop out...

  3. 1) Cook oatmeal and apply on face for fifteen minutes and wash.

    2) Make a warm bath with blanch of nettle and rosemary.

    3) Apply equal amount of lemon juice and rose water with a cotton ball and wash it after haif an hour for 15 to 20 days.

  4. It clears up naturally in no time.

  5. No, no, no...  Baby acne is natural, and it will go away sooner than you think.  Ask your pediatrican.  He will tell you the same thing.  Just bathe your baby with baby wash as normal.  DO NOT TRY TO POP or PICK AT IT!!!  You can hurt and bruise the baby very easily, no matter how careful you are.

    JUST LEAVE IT ALONE!

  6. Never heard of a tea. But you really don't need to put anything on it. Baby acne is only extra hormones from your body coming out of the baby via the skin and it usually goes away by itself. But if you do notice it getting worse or the pimples pussing up, then you should go to your pediatrician.

  7. Baby acne is normal and will go away with time. You shouldn't use anything on it!

  8. Never try to pick or scrub off either milia or acne. Gently wash your baby's face with plain water and a soft washcloth. You may use mild baby soap, but avoid lotions or oils, which may only aggravate acne.

Acne may worsen when your baby's hot or fussy, which causes increased blood flow to the skin's surface. It can also flare up if your baby comes into contact with a cloth that's been laundered in harsh detergents, or if spit-up milk stays on his skin.

Acne may come and go over the next several weeks and even months. Very rarely will it persist past six months. If is does, ask your pediatrician for advice -- she may prescribe medication to treat it.

  9. i would leave it alone. its natural and will clear up.

  10. It's not actually acne  they are called milk spots and only breast fed babies tend to get it.  If your bub is not being breast fed  more than likely its a rash.  Just try to keep the area clean and dry and if your really worried talk to your midwife or doctor.
