  1. i wear a normal bra if i can get away without it showing, but a lot of the costumes obviously don't allow that.  I'd wear a clear strap or strapless bra before I went w/out anything.  It's a bit painful for me to dance w/out and it just looks tacky.

  2. I, being a dancer myself, I suggest wearing a bra. There are many kinds of dance bras for invisible support. If you are kind of big, definetly go with a sports bra with clear or nuetral straps. IF you are kind of smaller, there are some that you can get with padding or cups. Look on this website for some good, cheap ones :

    Good Luck!!

  3. most good adult/teen leotards have a 'shelf-lining' inside which provides both modesty and support.

Dance bras with clear plastic straps and backs are also available. Google the dance direct catalogue (UK) or discount dance (USA) for further details.

  4. My friends go bra-less because thier leotards have shelf-bras or those double linings.

  5. I use a sport bra sometime but if my leotard is tight enough i go topless

  6. I use sports bras that are the same color as my leotard.  This is usually the most professional approach.  If you can see the sports bra in the back, that's usually fine, but in the front it shouldn't be showing.  This is the kind I normally wear:

Another approach is a nude sports bra, such as this one:

Good luck and hope I helped.♥

  7. don't use one, i don't need one
