i washed it 2ce a day with non bacterial hand soap just with my clean hands then i put neosprin (sp?) on it. mine really didnt scab or anything and is in perfect condition right now. i did this for about 2 weeks following my tattoo date. Good luck! oh an do not go in to a pool! my friend got the same one on the same day and now hers is kinda faded and it scabbed bad!

use aquaphor...u can get it at the pharmacy...otherwise if you use A & D you need to make sure u use an extremely thin layer, or else your skin will break out and most likely scar....use that for 5 days, and then use a non scented lotion...and its also good to wash it with antibacterial soap once or twice a day, for the 5 days you use the ointment...whatever you do, don't wrap it and don't use vaseline/patromleum based products. your tattoo needs to breathe to heal.
