What do you use to clean snakebites?

alright, i am getting my snakebites done on saturday and i'm wondering what to use to clean them and how long do they usually take to heal?

When I got my lip pierced, I bought some body piercing cleanser from the shop to clean the outside, and I bought alcohol free mouthwash to clean the inside. It healed really well, i'm sure you're piercer will give you all the information you need, good luck :)

well they usually clean it with some sort of cleaning medicine just on the skin and then just give you antibiotics to get rid of the bacteria that is inside. It shouldn't be any worse than a cat bite as long as the snake wasn't venomous. The length of time it takes to heal usually depends on how deep the bit was, my cat bite took only 1 1/2 weeks to heal but that was only 2mm deep.

antibacterial hand soap (the liquid soap in the squirt bottle).

rub it on the jewelry and around the pierced area, and rinse it good when finished.
