What do you use to clean your house?

Where do you buy it? How does it work? Do you worry about its contents?

I like to use Method brand cleaners. They are more expensive than the popular brands, but are much better for the environment. They don't have any toxic ingredients so they are safe to use all over the house-wherever you can use water. Also, the packaging is 100% recyclable. They have an extensive product line and a cleaner/soap/wipe for everything (even a line called "Go Naked" with no perfumes or dies in it). They are available at Target and work as well as Windex, Fantastik, and OxyClean cleaners. I highly recommend these products and would encourage you to use them. If you're going to clean, why not clean with something that keeps EVERYTHING clean?

Also, I forgot to add, once you start to buy the refills, the product really isn't much more expensive than other mainstream brands.

I use a variety of products, and I usually buy what is on sale. Though now I am worried about products being tested on animals and their "greeness". I am looking to switch some of my cleaners. My current ones are Lysol, Soft Soap, Clorox, Murphy Oil, Pledge, Windex, and Resolve. I bought one of those Mr. Clean bath tub cleaning pads - it works pretty well. Soft Soap can leave behind a film. Lysol is my favorite cleaner. I use it in the kitchen, bathroom, and floors.

A Vacuum of course glasses cleaner, and non acid bathroom cleaner, and a klean - n - shine. The thing is with the glass cleaner and non acid bathroom cleaner they don't have the strong smell like Windex and other products. Klean - n - shine is good for cleaning out the toilet bowl, and other hard on stains and build up. You can also use this thing called mean green another things to clean your toilet bowl and it turns the water inside blue lot of people like that of course it goes away after the first flush hahah. You can buy these products at stores that only sale cleaning supplies like janitors warehouse.

I use a line of environment safe products by Melaleuca. They are wonderful. They don't have safety caps on them because they are safe to use around the kids. They are super concentrated so less plastic is being use. I love the products and it comes out cheaper than places like Wal-mart and Target.

I use Fabulouso concentrate from the Dollar General.  It's cheap......and it works good.  I also use the Awesome spray from Dollar General.  

I know there are lots of homemade cleaners....ammonia and water clean glass........as does vinegar and water.  Baking soda cleans just about anything.

If you want good healthy cleaner........try LOC which is by Quixtar (the new Amway) That stuff is amazin.........really concentrated, so you can dilute as much as you like...works for everything!

Glass I do with vinegar & dish detergent mix. i use old newspaper as the ink on the paper polishes the glass & doesn't leave behind lint like paper towel can.

General all purpose cleaning I use Spray & wipe antibacterial

Because I have indoor pets I use diluted Domestos (chlorine based) to clean the floors.

I also use a spray on foam to deodorise the carpets to get rid of  pet smells. This foam is a no vac foam so you can use it between vacuuming to keep the carpets smelling fresh.
