  1. cut it's paw off

    it's what i did

  2. just from experience....cats will  hold their paws where they need to to heal it.....you dont wrap cats feet...they are going to take it off....good luck

  3. Anything you try to put on the paw he will just rip off. Just make sure it does not contain any dirt and leave it alone. Keep him in the house. To help him stay healthy and happy, it would be better if he were an indoor cat. Outdoor cats are more susceptible to disease and infection.

  4. Keep him in and don't wrap it.  If it's swelling, the wrap could become too tight and cut off blood to his toes.  The most common scenario is a cat bite abscess.  If he was in a fight, you wouldn't see the bite wound under the fur, or any blood since cats groom themselves.  Then a few days later, infection sets in, the cat starts limping, and the injured area begins to swell.  Sometimes pretty dramatically.  When the skin gets stretched too tight, the original wound pops open and bloody pus comes out.  If that happens before you get to the vet, let it drain.  Wrapping it will just make it re-abscess.

  5. If you don't have any gauze, plain white baby socks will do too.

  6. try to keep the cat indoors as much as possible for the weekend...i would try to wrap it loosely in some gauze but other than that i don't know because most likely the animal will just want to clean it itsself and rip off the gauze

  7. gauze with medical tape to hold it on; he'll try to pull it off, but it should help.

  8. Not a d**n thing.  Cats will l**k at anything on their paws, one of their special spots.  Keep him inside, encourage sleep w/ fluffy pillows and warm blankets, and treat him like a king.  My boy once had the same problem, I tried the socks and more but he fought against it all!  He's a cat, what do you expect?  The vet lanced the area and gave me a cream to put on area (which said cat promptly licked off).  Cats HATE having their paws messed with so I would leave it alone.  Keep him in, give him love, anything on paws will become a game-how to get off?  CATS!!  Gotta love them!!!

  9. I say if its not bleeding, don't cover it, let the kitty l**k it to keep it clean. I think its best for all involved if  you keep your kitty safe indoors, they get used to it and become quite happy in side!! WHAT DO YOU THINK? GOOD LUCK

  10. yeah i think you should keep youre cat inside because if it hot out side durning the day the sidewalk car burn their feets . most cats doesnt like wearing socks on their feets because its not comftable and sometimes its hard for them to walk around. if you want to get something that will help the paws . you can go to the store and buy your cat cats boots where they do sell them at petsmart . they aint experisves to get one. they all comes with different colors and styles and shapes and sizes. depend how old and size your cat paws are.

  11. scraps of towel
