Question:

What do you use to get the lint off of your sheets?

I use fabric softener sheets and my bedding comes out with little fibers and strings all over them. I had to use a lint roller before I put them on my bed! It was awful. Granted, they were new sheets and this was only the 2nd time washing them, is this normal? Do i need liquid softener or just more softener sheets? Thanks!

  1. I read that adding one-half cup of white vinegar to the rinse cycle gets rid of lint in your laundry.

I've never tried this, but since vinegar does such a great job in handling so many other jobs in and around the house I'd say it's worth a try.

    Good luck.

  2. If you are washing your sheets by themselves, and are getting lint and strings, I would say that something is wrong with the fabric.  If they are percale sheets, that should not happen. I always buy percale, muslin sheets are cheaper, but you only get about 1/4 the wear time out of them, and they do "fuzz up".
