  1. There is some product that comes in cans as a spray that freezes whatever you are spraying, then you can just chip it off. I used to use this product when I worked at a movie theater where we always has to get chewing gum off carpets and undersides of seats.

    GROSS!

  2. Use a wood oil or cleaner on the gum.  It should soften gum so it can be wiped up and it will be good for your floor.
