  1. Yeah.I use detergent.

  2. this is what i use: a hose, a sponge, soap, and my hot body

  3. Tires = Armor All or Black Magic (doesn't really matter which one so just go with the cheaper one lol)

Rims = Nothing, just Elbow Grease, maybe spit and a little of the above Armor All or Black Magic residue from cleaning the tires)

Glass = Sparkle because it is very streak free & easy.

(RAIN - X for front windshield only - the stuff really works.)

    Leather Interior = Meguiar's

Wax = Turtle Wax, Rain Dance Dark Car Formula

I do not use Mr.Clean auto dry thing.

  4. Water and dawn dish washing soap

  5. First and foremost, NEVER USE DISHWASHING SOAP!

Why?  Wax is essentially grease.  Dishwashing soap dissolves grease? you do the math.

for the outside, I use Meguiar's Tech wash, inside, I use a damp towel to clean out the dust, and a 1/2" paint brush to brush the hard to reach area's.  I use 303 Protectant for the interior.

windows I use Spray away or sometimes windex, whatever's closest.. amonia and water with some lemon juice works good, and dry windows in and out with newspaper.

Tires I use Armour All multi purpose cleaner to clean the tires, then apply meguiar's dark gloss tire shine.

Rims I clean with the car wash soap.

the mr. clean thing works very well, especially if you are in an area with hard water.  at worst, I use the mr. clean to rinse the car, my car gets to dirty for the sprayer to remove all the dirt.

  6. I use Meguiars car wash, but any of the name brands will do. Don't use anything but soap specifically for car washing. Pick one that has wax in it. This will keep a little protection on it and gives it a little extra shine even when you don't have time to wax it.

Use a vinyl/ plastic (Armor All, Meguiars, Mother's) cleaner and protectant on the plastic and vinyl. For really dirty areas use all purpose cleaner (409, Fantastic read the label though)Use a leather cleaner and conditioner on the leather (Lexol).

I use Stoners  glass cleaner. The key is to spray on the towel and not soak the glass.

I use Meguiars wheel cleaner on my rims and Meguiars aerosol tire shine on the tires. Wipe down the wheel and fender with a detailer spray wax after to get the overspray off.

The Mr. Clean system works well but can be expensive, dry you car off as soon as your done washing and you won't get spots. I use an Absorber sythetic chamois and a silicone squeegee from California Car Covers.
