  1. A sprinkle of soap flakes. Be sure to rinse thoroughly.

Or to save time and energy put them in a washing bag (lingerie bag) and use a gentle cycle with other delicates.

  2. about half teaspoon of your regular laundry detergent will work just fine. Do not use chlorine bleach.

I toss everything in the washer but hang dry some things. I have a Delicates setting on the washer that works really nicely.

  3. My sister uses dove body wash for her undies and it works just fine.

it has water-softeners built into it so the undies are not stiff after washing.  Also it takes out body oils and odours.

If you want to wash them in the delicate cycle in the washing machine, I suggest you put them into a mesh bag, they sell them at the drug store or at the $ stores  and it helps prevent them getting torn or caught up in the agitator.

  4. Just gentle mild laundry soap is best and kind to delicate things - rub soap in and leave to soak a little while - rinse thoroughly - you may like to add a little white vinegar to the rinse water to remove all traces of soap & keep them a nice colour. Dry outside if you can in a little sunshine - it keeps them nice and fresh and minimises skin infections

Alternatively you could use some good wool detergent and just soak for a while then squeeze them thru the suds

  5. Use that Scott's  product, Turfbuilder.
